Today, we proudly celebrated our Year 12 Class of 2026 as they formally graduated from Green Point Christian College. Surrounded by family, friends, staff and fellow students, the ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to honour and celebrate a remarkable group of young people as they reached this significant milestone.
The graduation ceremony featured beautiful musical performances by our talented students and the announcement of our incoming student leaders. Together, these moments reflected the rich culture of service, leadership and excellence that continues to flourish within our College community.
Outgoing College Captains, Micah and Gemma, shared heartfelt reflections on their time at GPCC, speaking about the experiences, relationships and opportunities that have shaped them into the young adults they are today. Their address highlighted how their years at the College have equipped them to thrive as they step into the next chapter of their journeys.
In a touching tribute, our Year 6 Captains thanked the graduating class for their leadership, encouragement and positive influence. They acknowledged the lasting impact Year 12 students have had as role models and honoured them for the many ways they have contributed to College life.
Principal Mr Joel van Bentum delivered a moving and encouraging address, challenging graduates to step confidently into the future while remaining grounded in the values, character and faith that have been nurtured during their time at GPCC.
Our Kindergarten helpers presented each graduate with a beautiful bouquet of flowers the gesture served as a poignant reminder of the journey from their earliest years of schooling to this important day of celebration and achievement.
It was a joyful and memorable occasion as we celebrated our students in style. We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished. As they prepare for their upcoming HSC examinations and look towards their futures, we pray that they will continue to grow, lead and serve with confidence, courage and purpose.
