Formation Framework

Our Formation Framework is built on a simple but profound conviction: that students flourish when they are in right relationship with God, with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.

At Green Point Christian College, we believe education is about far more than academic achievement. Our Formation Framework is built on a simple but profound conviction: that students flourish when they are in right relationship with God, with themselves, with others, and with the world around them. This is what we mean by shalom, the deep, wholeness that Scripture describes as God's intention for every person.

The Framework gives shape to how we pursue that flourishing across every dimension of college life. Formation in Godly character helps students develop integrity, humility, and compassion as habitual ways of living, not just values to talk about. Formation in collaboration builds the relational skills and mutual care that make a community genuinely safe and supportive. Formation in critical and creative thinking equips students to engage God's world with discernment, curiosity, and confidence. Formation in lifelong learning instils the habits of reflection and resilience that carry students through challenge and change. And formation in social engagement connects learning to service, helping students discover that their gifts matter to others and to God's purposes in the world.

Green Point Christian College acknowledges God our Father, the creator and giver of all life, and the Darkinjung people who are the traditional custodians of this land. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We pray God's blessings over all indigenous people groups, and we ask for His wisdom as we love and respect each other as God intended.
