SECONDARY AHTLETICS

The GPCC Secondary Athletics Carnival was a fantastic day filled with energy, enthusiasm and outstanding performances. The weather was beautiful, creating the perfect atmosphere for students, staff and supporters to enjoy the event.

Despite the warm conditions, there were plenty of refreshments available throughout the day, helping everyone stay cool and hydrated. This allowed athletes to stay refreshed while spectators comfortably cheered from the sidelines.

Throughout the carnival there were many exciting highlights. The sprint races were especially thrilling, with several very close finishes that had the crowd cheering loudly. The relay events were another crowd favourite, showing great teamwork and school spirit as students worked together to cross the finish line.

In the field events, athletes demonstrated impressive strength and skill in events such as long jump, discuss, shot put and high jump. Many students achieved personal bests, showing the dedication and effort they had put into training.

The carnival showcased a great deal of talent, with students demonstrating impressive athletic ability across a variety of events. The enthusiasm and support from the crowd created a positive and encouraging atmosphere throughout the entire day.

Overall, it was a wonderful day that celebrated participation, teamwork and the many talented athletes within the GPCC secondary community. Everyone should be proud of their efforts in making the day such a success.
