Primary School
Leadership
Leadership opportunities extend far beyond our Primary Captains and Vice Captains. Our Primary Service Team is a dedicated group of students who lead through service, using their gifts and initiative to make a positive contribution to our College community. These students serve in a variety of ways across the campus, supporting events, welcoming visitors, assisting younger students, and helping create a culture of care, encouragement, and responsibility.
Incursions and Excursions
Many exciting incursions and excursions are organised for our Primary students throughout the year. From exciting science shows, to wildlife park adventures, our students step beyond the classroom regularly to extend their learning.
Camps
YEAR 4 Each year, our Year 4 cohort enjoy an overnight camp to CRU Lake Macquarie, building friendships and enjoying a variety of exciting outdoor activities. YEAR 5 Year 5 participate in an overnight trip to Bathurst/Jenolan Caves, exploring some beautiful parts of the country. YEAR 6 Year 6 travel to Canberra to enjoy our Nations capital over 2 exciting nights. The excursion provides students with valuable insight into the history and functions of our National Capital, plus their roles and responsibilities as citizens of Australia.
Musicals/Performing Arts
PRIMARY MUSICAL Every second year, our Primary School takes centre stage for a spectacular musical production, showcasing the talents and creativity of our students. WAKAKIRRI In alternate years, students have the opportunity to participate in Wakakirri, Australia’s largest performing arts event, sharing inspiring stories through dance, drama and performance.
Sport
Beyond our carnivals held for swimming, cross country, and athletics each year, students are able to represent GPCC in many sports by qualifying at HCZS Zone level, CSSA, NSWCIS and NSW All Schools. Sports include Rugby Union, AFL, Futsal, Soccer, Cricket, Netball, MTB (Motorbike) series, OzTag, Basketball, Year 3/4 Duathlon, Year 5/6 Triathlon and more.
Choir
Students in Years 1-6 are welcome to join our Primary choir. Our choir performs at whole College events such as Easter, ANZAC, Foundation Day, and are invited to perform at various eisteddords and concerts throughtout the year.
Public Speaking / Debating
A public speaking competition is held each year at GPCC. Students also have the opportunity to debate on campus, online and beyond.

Lunchtime Clubs
CRU
CRU is a lunchtime group where students can explore their faith and play games.
Chess Club
Students in Years 1-6 are able to join Chess Club. All skill levels are welcome. Students develop strategic thinking and make new friends. They also have the chance to compete in an annual interschool chess competition.
Garden Club
Garden club grow flowers, edible plants, herbs and bush tucker plants. Students learn about sustainability through our compost and worm farm.
Art Club
Art Club is a creative space for students in Years 2-6 to explore their artistic talents. Students can draw, paint, craft and try new materials whilst making friends.
Run Club
A fun and energetic way for students to start their Friday mornings. Whether your child is an experienced runner or just looking to try something new, Run Club is a great place to get active, build fitness, and enjoy the outdoors with friends.
Yarn Club
Students learn how to knit, crochet and sew. They use their skills to create cosy blankets, beautiful teddies, and other gifts to bless people in the community who we are sick or in need.

Secondary School
Leadership
Leadership and mentoring are a valued part of life at GPCC. Student Prefects undertake a rigorous application process, including references and interviews, as they prepare to serve and lead within our community. Students also have opportunities to invest in others through our Peer Support program, where Year 11 volunteers receive training to mentor and support Year 7 students as they transition into Secondary School.
Sport
Beyond our school sports program, students have opportunities to represent GPCC at a variety of levels in AFL, Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Cross Country, Futsal, Gymnastics, Lawn Bowls, Mountain Biking, Netball, NFL/Flag, OzTag, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Sailing, Soccer/Football, Surfing, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Touch Football, Triathlon, Volleyball and Water Polo.
Mission & Service Trips
Duke of Edinburgh
The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is a youth development program for ages 14–25. Participants complete four sections—Voluntary Service, Physical Recreation, Skills, and an Adventurous Journey—across three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a life-changing experience. Students can discover new talents, develop essential skills for life and have fun with friends.
Academic Pursuits
Students have the opportunity to extend their learning through a range of academic competitions, including Science, Mathematics and STEM challenges, as well as 'Write a Book in a Day'. Students can also compete in the Da Vinci Decathlon, a prestigious academic competition that challenges creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork across multiple disciplines.
Camps
Each year, our Year 7 and Year 9 cohorts have the opportunity to go on camp, building friendships and strengthening confidence. Both cohorts attend a 3-day camp to CRU camp at Lake Macquarie, and enjoy a variety of exciting outdoor activities.
Music
Music opportunities abound at GPCC, providing students with a range of ways to develop their talents and passion. Students can join the Chapel Band, leading praise and worship at weekly Chapel services or participate in our instrumental tuition program with experienced professional tutors. Aspiring musicians can also become part of the Senior Concert Band, performing at College and community events throughout the year.
Sound & Audio Visual
Interested students can develop professional sound and audio-visual production skills while serving at weekly Chapel services (LIFE) and a range of College events throughout the year.
Coast Shelter
Students are able to serve each term by preparing meals in the kitchen at Coast Shelter Gosford, helping our local community.
Musicals & Performing Arts
Every second year, our Secondary students present a spectacular musical production, with an outstanding drama performance taking centre stage in alternate years. Students can also develop their improvisation and performance skills through TheatreSports, led by an experienced industry professional.

CRU
CRU (part of Christian Ministry) meet each week at lunchtime, providing students with a welcoming space to explore faith, ask questions and connect with others in a relaxed environment
Chess Club
Secondary students have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful world of Chess, developing strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and concentration while competing against fellow students in a friendly and challenging environment.
Art Club
Art Club is a creative space for students in Years 2-6 to explore their artistic talents. Students can draw, paint, craft and try new materials whilst making friends.
Crochet Club
Generally held during the winter months, Crochet Club is a relaxed space to get creative and explore a wonderful skill for life.
Dancing
A fun lunchtime activity, students can enjoy 'Just Dance' style casual dancing.
