Primary School Enrichment
 

Enrichment at Green Point Christian College extends learning beyond the classroom, supporting the whole child academically, spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Our tiered enrichment model is designed to help every student grow to their fullest potential and be well equipped for life beyond the College. Guided by an evidence‑based approach and our commitment to discovering God’s unique potential in each child, targeted programs and specialised support are provided where needed.

Through close collaboration between Primary classroom and enrichment teachers, learning is differentiated and adjusted to support both extension and intervention. Identified students benefit from specialist teaching in Mathematics, Literacy and STEM, and participate in rich learning experiences such as the DaVinci Decathlon, interschool debating, Maths Olympiad, Science Engineering Challenge and a variety of writing competitions.

Secondary School Enrichment
 

The Enrichment Department works collaboratively with parents, teachers and students, supported by professional expertise, to nurture students’ cognitive, social‑emotional, sensory and physical development.

Targeted small‑group instruction and specialised programs, such as Macquarie Literacy and fluency reading groups, complement classroom learning where appropriate. Students can also access check‑in times for guidance with coursework, assessments, organisation and time management.

Guided by NESA requirements and specialist recommendations, reasonable adjustments and provisions are implemented to ensure students can fully demonstrate their learning. The Enrichment Department supports academic staff to provide equitable access to assessments, empowering all students to achieve their potential.
