Green Point Christian College have been partnering with Operation Christmas Child since 1999. Our students have packed thousands of shoeboxes over the year's to bless children all around the world.
Operation Christmas Child is a hands-on way to bless children in need by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts. Operation Christmas Child collect the boxes and distribute them in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in vulnerable situations.
In 2014 a mission team of GPCC Years 10 and 11 students travelled to Cambodia with Samaritan's Purse. During their time in Cambodia they were privileged to distribute many OCC shoeboxes to children and experience the joy and excitment of the children on receiving these gifts.
Our Primary students and Secondary students in their 'Equip' classes will be given the opportunity to pack a shoebox again this year.
