ACSI Flourishing School Culture Initiative

Towards the end of 2020 I invited parents, staff, students, alumni and board members to take part in a survey put out by the Association of Christian Schools International. This survey helps schools review how they are going in becoming a flourishing school.

Based on a review of the literature and the findings of a meta-analysis of leading Christian schools’ expected student outcomes, the Flourishing School Culture Model has been developed.

The model focuses schools on 5 key areas: purpose, relationships, learning orientation, expertise and resources and well-being. This survey highlights GPCC’s meaningful strengths and our key growth opportunities in these areas.

You will find here and via the button below the full School Profile report and if you refer to pages 10 and 11 you will get a summary of the key findings. We are using these to help shape our School Improvement Plan for 2021.

Thank you to all those who took time to complete the survey. I am open to responding to any questions or comments you may have in relation to the survey so feel free to contact me.
